Drift is a photographic study of Amherst Island, Ontario, examining the intersection of human activity, industry, and the natural environment. When the turbines were first proposed on the island the idea was met with approval by some and opposition by others. The juxtaposition of abandoned barns with modern wind energy infrastructure reflects both the persistence of human impact and the resilience of the landscape. Drift invites reflection on rural decline, sustainability, and the enduring presence of place.
